Mrs. Fatima is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. Mrs. Fatima received her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association in 2008. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with a minor in Linguistics and Speech Communication and Masters in Special Education, specializing in Speech Language Pathology in 2006.
Mrs. Fatima has received training and clinical experience in a variety of settings such as schools, hospitals, as well as private practice. She exhibits proficient skills in screening, assessing and treating preschool and school-age children with communication disorders.
She has over 13 years of experience working with a variety of diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Developmental Delay, ADD/ADHD, Learning Disability, Intellectual Disability, Aphasia, Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Apraxia of Speech and Traumatic Brain Injury. She is well-versed with managing behaviors and assisting children with augmentative communication devices such as Lamp.
Mrs. Fatima is a great resource in helping children improve their overall communication abilities by working with the family and school support teams.
